Julianna Smith
Creative Director
At Sweet Grass, I oversee marketing and design and create content and communications that reflect the heart of what we do. My goal is to make emotional connections that inspire action and advocacy for communities whose voices are too often overlooked. I’m continually inspired by the work of my colleagues and honored to help share their stories.
Before joining Sweet Grass, I worked with a national educational nonprofit on the professional learning design team. I helped develop engaging digital experiences for classroom teachers and school leaders in their pursuit to improve student outcomes. My role here is different, but the core principle is the same: distill complex information into accessible, understandable, and actionable insights.
When I’m not working, you can find me walking the woodsy hills of my neighborhood or exploring the many parks and forests of the Pacific Northwest with my family.
