About us
Research Assistant
As a research assistant at Sweet Grass, I support the team in implementing projects that elevate community voices and expertise. My work includes supporting data collection, analysis, and collaborating with the team to ensure that findings translate into meaningful and applied insights.
I am also a PhD student at Montana State University, where I study rural and Indigenous health. My research focuses on the identification of social drivers of health among immigrant populations in the rural Mountain West, with the goal of improving culturally responsive resource referrals. I also work with the MSU College of Nursing on initiatives related to children’s health with Tribal Nations in Montana. Previously, I earned a master’s degree in global health from Duke University. In all of my work, I strive to prioritize cultural humility and collaborative partnerships that advance community priorities.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me traveling, skiing, or spending time in the mountains of Colorado. .
