Akiptan
Akiptan is a certified Native community development financial institution (CDFI) based in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, on the Cheyenne River Reservation. Located in a small, rural agriculture community, Akiptan is dedicated to financing agriculture operations all across Indian Country. It began operations in January 2019 and has since evolved into an industry-leading Native CDFI.

Since its inception, Akiptan has experienced immense growth. To showcase the vital role it plays in Indian Country, we helped develop and design an impact report highlighting its achievements, programs, mission-based lending, and measurable outcomes of its work.
