Our experience
Established in 2014, Sweet Grass provides professional consulting services in evaluation, research, strategy, and implementation that promote and support asset-based initiatives in economically burdened communities. We assist for- and nonprofits dedicated to promoting self-determination, equity, and well-being. Sweet Grass is committed to participatory methods and has a combined 30+ years of experience in evaluation, research, and strategy.
Our approach
We take a holistic, systems approach to our work. Individuals, families, households, beliefs, economies, environments, and governments all play a role. This approach allows us to collaborate in a meaningful way. We address underlying power dynamics, welcome anyone interested in contributing, and value each participant’s unique skill sets and ways of knowing. It’s of the utmost importance to us that our clients and their communities hold the decision-making power in our work together.
Where we’re located
Our headquarters is in Loveland, Colorado, but we operate as a fully remote team. This allows us to work with talented people all across the country, with service areas close to our clients.
We show up to every project with deep experience in building trusting relationships with our partners. And as new opportunities emerge, skills develop, and individuals, organizations, and communities change, our work is ever evolving. Our goal is to help people define and control the data about themselves. That means we’re always listening and changing with you, our partners.
