Grant tracking and evaluation for the Good Relatives Collaborative
Good Relatives Collaborative
The Good Relatives Collaborative provides responsive grants to grassroots and Native-led organizations engaged in community-powered solutions. It's made up of three partner organizations who came together for the specific purpose of making philanthropy accessible to Indigenous people.
-
Soon after its founding, the Collaborative knew it needed to track its impact without burdening its grantess like traditional philanthropic foundations tend to do. There was also a need to create sustainable and replicable internal systems for tracking grantee applications, community review processes, and awards.
-
Define a comprehensive evaluation plan which outlined the long-term vision and outcomes for the investments.
Outline tools and processes to implement the plan.
Develop a shared database solution to facilitate online applications, reviews, and grant dispersal tracking.
Unobtrusively gather data and impacts, then analyze and write annual evaluation reports after the completion of each grant cycle.
