About us

Principal & Strategy Director

I help nonprofits understand their impact and plan for the future. As co-owner, I also manage the day-to-day operations, HR, and finances for the company. Most of my client-facing projects focus on helping organizations look and plan ahead, but at heart, I’m a data nerd. I love digging into numbers and stories, uncovering patterns, and translating information into something both human and actionable.

I believe deeply in the power of nonprofits collecting and managing their own data on their own terms. When organizations take ownership of their story, they not only see their impact more clearly but also strengthen their case for financial and relational support. My role is to listen closely, adapt as I learn, and help teams connect the dots between their work and the change they’re creating or want to create.

My background is in applied cultural anthropology, and I ground my approach in participatory evaluation and research. To truly engage with clients, I start from their perspective and use a variety of methods, tools, and approaches to guide strategic planning, build databases, and design evaluative research.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my partner, our son, and our two dogs. It took nearly 10 years to bring our son into our lives, and that journey taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of staying open to change. I like listening to heavy metal (especially the Architects) and spend time in my home gym heavy lifting (my go-tos when letting off steam). I also love to travel and have been to 33 of the 50 states so far (mostly through work trips!). I spend as much time outdoors as possible — hiking, camping, and skiing. Being outdoors helps me reset and reminds me why I care so deeply about the communities and landscapes where I work.
